Successful candidates will receive an invitation from People and Culture to select a timeslot for a phone interview.
A phone interview starts the corporate roles, followed by one or two virtual interviews with hiring managers. For more senior positions, there can be three or four interviews.

- What do you know about CAPREIT and why are you interested in the role?
- Explain your experience as it relates to the position?
- Are you available to work at the locations specified?
- When are you available to start?
- Where do you see yourself in five years?
- Research the company and try to have a good understanding of what we do
- Understand the position you’re applying for and prepare questions
- For phone and video interviews, ensure you’re in a quiet space without distractions
- Follow up by sending a thank-you email
