CAPREIT’s Vendor Code of Conduct
At CAPREIT, we believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, honesty, and dignity, and that we must avoid behaviour that is inappropriate (or even has the appearance of being inappropriate) in all instances.
We are committed to ensuring that our business relationships with our vendors abide by the highest ethical standards. CAPREIT’s expectation is that every vendor with which it does business demonstrates the same commitment to these values and conducts their operations in a responsible and ethical manner.

CAPREIT has partnered with VendorPM—a single, unified platform designed to strengthen collaboration between vendors and CAPREIT. VendorPM will help support vendor compliance and streamline the bidding process by giving vendors greater visibility to other clients and providing CAPREIT with access to qualified vendor partners. The platform offers a user-friendly experience for both CAPREIT employees and vendor partners.

Work Better with Property Managers | VendorPM for Vendors
In order to become a CAPREIT vendor, you must be invited to quote an event.
If you are awarded any work, you will be required to provide your compliance documentation.
CAPREIT will work only with vendors who maintain “Compliant” status in VendorPM.
In preparation to meet CAPREIT compliance requirements, you will need to submit the following through the platform:
- Vendor Information Package (available for download on the platform)
- Certificate of Insurance
- Worker’s Compensation
- Health and Safety Policy and Procedures
- Other applicable professional licenses based on your service category
If you are unable to provide the required documentation due to exceptional circumstances, you may submit an exemption request for review within the platform.
Our team will review these documents to ensure they meet our internal compliance requirements.
Once approved, you will be recognized as a CAPREIT-compliant vendor.
